NeuroMeditation Institute Level 2 Instructor Training:

Clinical Applications Workshop

Meditation can:

- Balance the nervous system, promoting deep calmness, relaxation, and peace of mind.

- Influence brainwaves, helping to boost focus, enhance cognitive functioning, and improve clarity in thinking.

- Regulate emotions, making it easier to manage stress, build resilience, and improve relationships.

- Support physical health, reducing symptoms related to stress, lowering blood pressure, and boosting immune function.

- Enhance overall quality of life, providing a foundation for increased happiness, mindfulness, and fulfillment.

Despite these incredible benefits, many people don’t know where to start when it comes to meditation. Even those who begin often struggle to sustain a consistent practice over time. That’s where our Level 2 Instructor Training: Clinical Applications Workshop comes in.

This workshop offers an immersive, in-depth exploration of how to use meditation as a powerful intervention for mental health conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, chronic stress, depression, and PTSD. Whether you’re a meditation teacher, therapist, or mental health professional, this training equips you with the tools to tailor meditation practices to individual needs, making them both accessible and transformative. It’s more than just learning about meditation; it’s about empowering others to create lasting change in their lives.

Course Description

NeuroMeditation Overview, Client Intake, and Guiding Groups

In the opening modules of this workshop, we will provide a comprehensive overview of the four distinct styles of NeuroMeditation and explore how each style impacts the brain and nervous system. You will gain a clear understanding of the unique benefits of each meditation style and how to apply them in clinical settings.

By the end of these modules, you will know how to:

  • Administer the NeuroMeditation Styles Inventory and accurately interpret the results to tailor meditation plans.

  • Match each NeuroMeditation style to specific mental health concerns, such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, PTSD, and more.

  • Conduct an effective intake interview to gather information and create personalized meditation plans.

  • Lead group meditations using techniques designed to guide participants through transformative experiences.

  • Recognize the impact of trauma on meditation practices and adjust approaches accordingly to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Deep Dive into the Four Styles

Next, we’ll take a deeper dive into each of the four NeuroMeditation styles (Focus, Mindfulness, Open Heart, and Quiet Mind), breaking down their neurological effects and practical applications.

In these modules, you will learn:

  • Which brain regions are activated or quieted by each meditation style and how this influences mental health outcomes.

  • Technology-based approaches to enhance the practice of each NeuroMeditation style, such as neurofeedback or audio-visual entrainment.

  • Practical exercises to offer clients, giving them tools to strengthen their practice and address specific issues.

  • How to modify meditation practices for clients who may need adaptations due to trauma, physical limitations, or cognitive challenges.
