Audience: all experience levels welcome
Format: Virtual, Synchronous
Cost: $725
Dates: Fridays: February 5, 12, & 19
Time: 8am - 12:30pm PST
Instructor: Jeff Tarrant, PhD
This workshop will help attendees learn how to select a meditation style based on clients presenting concerns and provide a host of practical strategies for each of the meditative styles. Our approach can be used on many different neurofeedback systems, including Brain Master, New Mind, and BioTrace+.
The format of this training will include:
3 group meetings spread out over 1 month
2 semi-private mentoring sessions (2-3 people).
Each of the group meetings will be 4.5 hours in length, cover the basic didactic material and provide demonstrations of the protocols discussed.
Group-size will be limited to 12 people to allow in-depth discussion, questions, and interaction during the meetings.
As part of the training, you will receive all of the BrainMaster protocols along with handouts, and a PDF of the PowerPoint deck.
Between meetings, you will work with the meditation styles covered in the previous session and participate in semi-private mentoring sessions with the Instructor. The mentoring sessions will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time(s) and designed to help clarify, fine-tune, problem solve, or consult based on your specific needs.
Dates and Topics for the Group Sessions (conducted through Zoom):
Friday, February 5th, 8:00-12:30 PST: Introduction, Overview, Choosing a Style, Focus Style
Friday, February 12th, 8:00-12:30 PST: Mindfulness & Open Heart Styles
Friday, February 19th, 8:00-12:30 PST: Quiet Mind & Deep States Styles
Required Equipment Access & Volunteer Subject:
Because of the distance format, it will be important that you have the equipment and volunteer subjects to work with between sessions. We currently have pre-designed protocols for BrainAvatar (2-channel and sLORETA), BioTrace+ and New Mind systems. In addition, the protocols can be created in any 2 channel EEG software that allows you to do amplitude training.
Dates of Live Online Training: February 5th, 12th, and 19th
Please note: Registration is limited to 12 people to support deeper learning and practical application. Thank you for your understanding.
CEU’s: CEU’s are available through R. Cassidy Seminars and must be purchased separately ($40). Click the link below to purchase.
