Meet Your Instructor

Mike Welch, NMI-2

Mike Welch is a personal trainer with an AAS in Exercise Science, an Acrofit certified instructor, and NeuroMeditation Level 2 Certified Instructor.

Mike shifted his career into the world of fitness and wellness after he was laid off from a high stress job in the tech industry. He pursued exercise and lifestyle changes as a remedy to his mental health challenges including ADHD, PTSD, and depression. While exercise helped to relieve him of some of his symptoms, Mike found some aspects of the fitness world lacking in its understanding of the nervous system and subtle energetic bodies and began exploring meditation and spiritual practices.

He continues to study movement, strength, Yoga, Eastern and Western mysticism, and energetic healing, and he weaves these concepts into his exercise science skillset to bring his clients something unique. Mike is also trained as a NeuroMeditation Instructor Level 2 through the NeuroMeditation Institute where he continues his ongoing study.
