The Open Heart style of NeuroMeditation activates feelings of love, compassion, generosity, gratitude, and joy. This style may be especially beneficial for those seeking to improve their mood or relationships.
This half day, live, meditation class takes a scientific approach to the art and practice of meditation.
This workshop is for those who love to meditate, those who can’t meditate, those who have never even tried to meditate, and everyone in between. Through supportive, and enriching instruction, Kendra will guide participants into a deeper understanding of the mind/body states associated with Open Heart Meditation, and will lead the group in a variety of meditation techniques designed to improve your mood, increase empathy, and expand your ability to live with love.
Unlike more Zen or Quiet Mind approaches to meditation, the Open Heart style emphasizes focusing attention on increasing a positive feeling state. So, rather than emptying the mind, we’ll turn our attention toward our body and emotions. This makes it a really accessible style for beginners, and a lovely addition to the practices of those who may be more experienced meditators.
Attendees will gain knowledge of the scientific brainwave principles underlying the Open Heart approach, and should expect to leave the workshop with a greater sense of purpose, confidence, and ease in their personal meditation practice.
This class is limited to 12 participants.
